On 25 March 2026, we once again had the honour of celebrating the success of Macedonian women in Germany and beyond. Dr Irena Bojarovska, Vice Chair of ZemaF e.V. and an Applied Scientist at Zalando SE, was invited to attend the international Agentiq World Berlin conference, held on 24 and 25 March at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and dedicated to AI and Agentic Commerce. And what a special moment it was when, at the end of one of the keynote speeches, the Macedonian flag suddenly appeared on stage! Ivana Nikolić, CGO at Atos and a Forbes Executive Member, delivered an impressive presentation titled Driving Impact with Agentic AI: Leading the Era of Intelligent Operations. She demonstrated that Agentic AI is no longer a concept of the future, but a rapidly developing reality – progressing from chat-based communication to voice interactions and intelligent systems capable of making independent decisions and creating genuine value for businesses. Through practical examples and in-depth technological insights, she gave us a “behind-the-scenes look” at what our future could look like – a future that is literally evolving every day. The presentation was followed by a wonderful networking session and an exchange filled with positive energy and emotion. Ivana is not only an outstanding expert and leader, but also a true role model in supporting and empowering women in technology. She is a Mentor-Ambassador at Women in AI, an Ambassador at the EWTA – Empower Women in Tech Alliance, and President of STEM Women in the Netherlands. This is something that we, as a community, deeply value, support and strive for ourselves – connecting within our fields of impact, growing together and inspiring one another.
